Secondary Containment Structure Construction

Client: Petroleum Distributing and Marketing Company

Project Description: This project involved construction of a new concrete secondary containment for an aboveground bulk fuel storage system.  Specific work tasks included excavation, loading and off-site disposal of petroleum impacted soils from the base of the former earthen secondary containment; required site work related to the installation of a new secondary containment; the installation of a concrete secondary containment system to replace the former earthen secondary containment; and site restoration to include final grading, seeding and mulching of all disturbed areas and the placement of a new fence surrounding the containment area.

Project Duration: The project started in August of 2017 through November of 2017

Project Cost: The total project construction cost was approximately $190,000.
